What we collect

Your account details (name, email, password stored only as a secure hash), the Word resume and profile information you provide, the job descriptions you paste, and the resumes and emails generated for them.

How we use it

Only to provide the service to you: to rewrite your resume for a job description, score it, build the Word file and send the application email you approve or set to send automatically. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

AI processing

On automatic plans, the job description and your resume text are sent to our AI provider to write the resume. On the Basic plan you paste the prompt into your own AI chat yourself.

Email access (Gmail and Outlook)

If you connect Gmail or Outlook, we request permission only to send email on your behalf (Gmail: gmail.send; Outlook: Mail.Send). We cannot read, delete or manage your mailbox. We use this permission only to send the application emails you approve or schedule. Access tokens are stored encrypted, and you can disconnect at any time in your profile or in your Google / Microsoft account settings. FitJD's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Sharing

We share data only with the services needed to run FitJD: hosting, database, AI provider and email delivery. Recruiters receive only the emails and resumes you send them.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete my account; this permanently removes your account, resume, profile and all jobs.

Security

Connections use HTTPS, passwords are hashed and email tokens are encrypted at rest.
